All personal information is treated as confidential. Information is only shared without consent where there is a serious risk of harm, safeguarding concerns, or a legal requirement. Client work is discussed anonymously in clinical supervision.

Records are stored securely using password-protected systems and/or locked storage. Records are retained in line with legal and professional guidance, and securely destroyed when no longer required.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, I encourage you to bring this to my attention, so that concerns can be addressed wherever possible.
Making a Complaint
Concerns can be raised verbally or in writing. I will aim to respond in a timely and
respectful manner.
Escalation
If the matter cannot be resolved, you may contact: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

Complaints relating specifically to data protection may be directed to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
